Create a forum and subscribe to a discussion in it as someone besides the admin

Post as admin with "mail now" checked

Run cron

Check your admin's email account and see the email that you got (See the text version). Make sure there is a line break between the discussion url and the discussion title. (Refer issue description for details)

After the upgrade to 2.9, the emails sent from moodle.org contain a header like

Note the lack of the newline separator after the URL.
