      1. Create a course with 6 students names s1-s6
      2. Create a grouping name "assignment teams" with 2 groups in it g1 and g2
      3. Add the following students to g1: s1, s2, s3
      4. Add the following students to g2: s3, s4, s5
      5. Create an assignment with 'Students submit in groups' set to 'Yes' and 'Require group to make submission' set to 'Yes' and the grouping set to 'assignment teams'
      6. Verify that students s1 and s2 can submit to team g1
      7. Verify that student s3 cannot submit and sees a decent error message
      8. Verify that students s4 and s5 can submit to team g2
      9. Verify that student s6 cannot submit and sees a decent error message

    Description

      As a follow-up of MDL-48159, I stumbled upon a minor thing:

      If I set the "Require group to make submission" setting in an assignment activity to yes, students who are not in any group are prevented from submitting their assignment and are therefore not in the Default group.

      However, a teacher sees on /mod/assign/view.php?id=<ID>&action=grading the groups of the users and for students who are affected by the preventsubmissionnotingroup setting, there is still "Default group" shown as the name of their group.

      I think that this should be improved to avoid confusion among teachers and propose to provide a warning message here instead of "Default group".
