Display remaining time in course

Is it possible to display to the user when their course ends? A countdown timer would be interesting, but at least have moodle display the users enrollment expiration date and time inside the course somewhere. I'm aware of the enrollment expiry notification email, but a lot of our emails get bounced, or sent to junk, or the student simply doesn't check them.
