Trailing slash in URL supplied to URL Resource causes extra click to open

      With trailing slash - Automatic display mode
      1. Create a new URL resource and give it a name
      2. Supply any URL to a normal HTML page folder with a trailing slash (example, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/
      3. Under "Appearance", make sure Display is set to "Automatic"
      4. Save and return to course.
      5. Click on the URL resource.
      6. Confirm that you get redirected to the view page before you can open the URL resource.
      Without trailing slash - Automatic display mode
      1. Edit the URL resource
      2. Remove the trailing slash (example, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business
      3. Save and return to course.
      4. Click on the URL resource.
      5. Confirm that you get redirected to the view page before you can open the URL resource.
      Non-automatic display mode
      1. Edit the URL resource
      2. Set its Display to "Open"
      3. Save and return to course.
      4. Click on the URL resource.
      5. Confirm that you get redirected to the site the URL points to.
      6. Edit the URL resource
      7. Add the trailing slash (example, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/
      8. Make sure that Display is still set to Open.
      9. Save and return to course.
      10. Click on the URL resource.
      11. Confirm that you get redirected to the site the URL points to.

      To reproduce...

      • Create a new URL resource and give it a name
      • Supply any URL to a normal HTML page folder with trailing slash (example, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/)
      • save and return to course
      • click the new resource and it opens an intermediate page 'Click here to...' before you get to the destination
      • edit the resource and remove the slash (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business). save and return to course
      • this time clicking the resource goes straight there
