    Description

During the usability study, participants had difficulty finding where to add their profile photo.

      • The photo is included in a section that is hidden by default, but it is an essential part of profiles that people want to change. It should be included with important user information above.
      • Familiarity with language like "Add Photo" led to difficulty uploading a picture. The language around the part of the form for adding a photo should be obvious. The standard file picker used for photo upload lacks photo-specific language.
      • The Add Image icon needs to be more brightly coloured. Remove the action from the text.
      • Replace the file picker with an alternative that incorporates some UI elements similar to Facebook, Flickr, etc.
