- Test in Clean and Boost.
- Create a quiz, to select the following review options, set "Question behaviour" to "Adaptive mode" and choose the review options „The attempt“, „Whether correct“, „Specific feedback“, „General feedback“ and „Overall feedback“ for all four occasions (during the attempt, immediately after the attempt, later, while the quiz is still open, after the quiz is closed). Important: Do not choose „Marks“/“Right answer“ (
) - Create a cloze question type in the quiz. One example: „some text {1:MULTICHOICE: ~=right answer#~wrong answer#}some text“. Important: Do not enter any specific feedback for the MC-options after the #.
- Run or preview and submit/finish the quiz (not just preview the question itself, but the quiz).
- When the quiz is submitted and the feedback is displayed, move the mouse over the „right“ or „wrong“ symbol directly after the chosen answer. Moodle now displays „Correct“ or „Incorrect“.
- Make sure the background is extended under the whole word. If you wish in Firebug or another source editing tool, extend or shorten the shown message. The underlaying field should adapt itself.

Important: Do not choose „Marks“/“Right answer“ ()

). Moodle now displays „Correct“ or „Incorrect“, the yellow background color covers only the letters „corre“ or „incorre“, which makes the readability bad. 
Please note that the problem does not occur when choosing the feedback options „Marks“/“Right answer“
