Chrome browser auto-fills non-credential password fields again

      On all browsers - Safari and Edge may not work at all as per MDL-51688. Only test the LDAP page and the course edit page on those browsers at first. If it works complete the testing on those browsers and we can close the other issue. If not, skip the rest of the testing and we'll address it in MDL-51688.

      1. Log in to your moodle course as an admin
      2. In the browser, select to save your password
      3. Edit a course and follow the "Instructions" below
      4. Edit a quiz and follow the "Instructions" below
      5. Test each of the following pages using the "Instructions" below
        • Site administration ► Plugins ► Authentication ► Manage authentication
          • CAS
          • LDAP
      6. Search admin settings for "password"
      7. Ensure that no password fields are automatically filled by the browser

      Instructions:

      1. Use firebug (or the chrome inspecter or the equivalent in the current browser) to view the "form data" and make sure your password wasn't passed
        1. Open the inspector
        2. Click the network tab
        3. Select the request at the top (you may need to scroll)
        4. Select the headers tab
        5. Scroll to "Form data"

      When looking at the group self enrolment key in Chrome, the key displayed is an odd collection of letters/numbers that do not relate to the number of characters truly entered not the correct key itself. The key views perfectly in Internet Explorer.

      The Chrome browser version reports up to date.
