    Description

This is regarding the Authentication plugin, Email-based self-registration.

Though the registration form does not advance with out a correct or completed CAPTCHA, without a warning message it is not obvious to some users that there is a problem.

We've had to turn off the reCAPTCHA option in the plugin because of the confusion with our students.

You can recreate the problem on the Moodle.org registration page: https://moodle.org/login/signup.php
