Hi all

I am submitting this ticket in hopes to have a persistent issue addressed that has plagued our Moodle for a number of iterations. We currently leverage the glossary module and subsequent automatic linking of glossary terms fairly extensively. Our content developers access the glossary quite often to create new entries for key terms that require unique definitions. The glossary exceeds 1000 entries. When we access the glossary, or in any way attempt to navigate the glossary, load times exceed 10-15 full seconds.

I would like to provide you more information - any type of query, system diagnostics, etc. to provide greater insight into why accessing/querying the glossary takes such an excessive period of time. Please indicate (procedurally) what you need to help get the information you need. I am keen to help resolve this issue.
