I made myself a dropbox repository according to the documentation.
Then I use the repository to attach a scorm package to my course.
If I choose 'make a copy of the file' everything works well => The Dropbos repository is accessible
If I choose create an alias/shortcut to the file':
- The dropbox repository appears in the file picker.
- I can choose the scorm file
- the shortcut appears in the package file window.
- Saving the page gives an error stating that: 'An error occurred while downloading the file. Cannot write to file ([localcachedir]/......)'
I made a video so you can see for yourselves

Did some more testing with all available MAMP moodle versions and the dropbox repository.
Create an alias to the dropbox repository works well in moodle versions until version 2.8.
Starting from moodle 2.9 this functionality does not work anymore.
Instead the described error appears.
Maybe compare the code from 2.8 and 2.9 / 3.0 will clarify the problem.
Someone?
kind regards
