      Description

      Hi guys,

Last week I reported a bug MDL-54584 on the making of aliases to scorm packages in a dropbox repository. It was fixed in no time by a really excellent bugfixteam. Now this bug is fixed, I stumbled on to the next. If I make an alias/shortcut to a scorm package on dropbox, I can view the scorm package content. If I change the package by overwriting the old file by a new one, it is still the old one which wil show even if the autoupdate frequency is set to 'every time it is used' In the past, something similar for all repositories was the subject in MDL-47405. The problem appears only with the dropbox repository. If I put the files in a File System repository, Autoupdate works just fine.
If made two little video's to show you

      1. From Dropbox repository:
      • Add Alias to Scorm package TEST_NL.zip in to the course
      • Set autoupdate frequency to every time it is used
      • Save
      • Open course => Should be Condenspot (in Dutch)
      • Change TEST_EN.zip in to TEST_NL.zip
      • Open course => Should be Steamtrap (in English) but is still Condenspot (in Dutch) => autoupdate not ok
      • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r2AdD-WBxg
      1. From File system repository:
      • Add Alias to Scorm package TEST_NL.zip to the course
      • Set autoupdate frequency to every time it is used
      • Save
      • Open course => Should be Condenspot (in Dutch)
      • Change TEST_EN.zip in to TEST_NL.zip
      • Open course => Steamtrap (in English) shows => autoupdate ok
      • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at1vozqY_tc

In my opinion, both auto updates should work in a similar way.
Tomorow I will check if the dropbox repository function worked in earlier versions.
I tried to empty the cache in between and even shut of cache in the developers menu. This is not a caching problem! I think It is the change in the scorm package that is not detected.so the course just don't know that it should update.

      kind regards

      Dagwin
