Enable "Mobile services": Plugins ► Web Services ► Mobile Log in with a student account in Moodle web, go to your messaging preferences and enable receive Mobile notifications for internal messages. Now login with the student in the Moodle Mobile app so you can receive push notifications in there. In Moodle web, login as teacher and use bulk messaging ( https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Bulk_user_actions ) to send a message to a few students, including the student. Check that you receive a notification in the Mobile app for your test student Click the notification in the app. Check that you're redirected to messages.
