MOODLE_31_STABLE
Hello!
I study at TAMK (Tampere University of Applied Sciences) in Finland and my problem is following:
We use "Tabula" which is place for course content, returning homework, etc.. I started my second year (out of 4) and I'm already irritated by the view of "My courses". It's full of old courses that are already reviewed and I'm not gonna do anything with them. Now my second years courses are mixed up with those and are really hard to find. They are sorted "alphabetically", but most of them start with a number so it's not really helping.
I contacted my schools local "Helpdesk" and they said it's teachers job to delete the course after it's done. We have ONE teacher that did it last year so its not really helping. They also said that Tabula has option which allows student to leave the course, but it's not active because that caused problems when student left too early, before teacher had given a grade.
SO my proposition: Teachers have enough to do already so they can't be responsible to delete the course after it's done. (secondly it's sometimes handy that you can return to the material and refresh your memory). So could you make an update that allows students to hide courses they choose? Or even better make categories; OLD, Year 1, USEFUL, Not useful, etc.. And "sort by date" of joining is something to think about also.
Thank you in advance, Veli
Ps. I have no idea about "Affects version" because site does not say it, tried to scroll source code also with not luck.
