Copy test_deprecated_functions_media.php in your Moodle root directory.

Go to http://yourmoodlesite/test_deprecated_media.php

Make sure you see an error message for each function that says the function can not be used anymore.

Ensure the file lib/medialib.php does not exist.

Description

Specifically:

remove lib/medialib.php and add it to "standard removed files"
remove class core_media_renderer
core_media_player::is_enabled and core_media_player_link::is_enabled
core_media_player::compare_by_rank
