Test on Boost and Classic
- Copy the patched index.php into your root instance depending on the version:
- Moodle 4.0 and master: index.php
- Moodle 3.11: index_311.php(rename it to index.php)
- Moodle 4.0 and master: index.php
- Enable debug in the instance (using mdk: >mdk run mindev.php)
- Open the page in the browser
- Check the "Test" debug message is visible right below the navbar header when the page scroll is on the top of the page.

I noticed MDL-57064 in Clean. When checking Boost I noticed that the message was present as well but not visible as it is displayed behind the top navbar. We should fix this as developers may not be aware of issues.
To replicate:
- Add the following to your index.php
debugging('test'); - Go to the site home
- The notice is not visible, but is in the page source
- Discovered while testing
