Boost - My courses are not displayed with $CFG->navshowmycoursecategories on

      Boost theme
      1. Log in as admin.
      2. Navigate to Site administration / Appearance / Navigation.
      3. Make sure that "navshowmycoursecategories" is unticked.
      4. Create 2 courses and 4 categories with the following structure:

         
        Category 1 
          Sub-category 1 
            Course 1 
        Category 2 
          Course 2 
        Category 3 
        

      5. Enrol a student S1 to both Course 1 and Course 2.
      6. On another browser/incognito window, log in as S1.
      7. Edit S1's dashboard and add the Navigation block.
      8. Check "My courses" on the flat navigation panel.
        • Confirm that Course 1 and Course 2 are listed under "My courses", like below:

           
          My courses 
            Course 1 
            Course 2 
          

      9. Check "My courses" on the navigation block.
        • Confirm that Course 1 and Course 2 are listed under "My courses" under their respective categories, like below:

           
          My courses 
            Course 1 
            Course 2 
          

      10. Back on the admin's browser window, tick "navshowmycoursecategories" and save the changes.
      11. Go back to S1's browser window and refresh the page.
      12. Check "My courses" on the flat navigation panel.
        • Confirm that Course 1 and Course 2 are listed under "My courses", like below:

           
          My courses 
            Course 1 
            Course 2 
          

      13. Check "My courses" on the navigation block.
        • Confirm that it shows only Category 1 and Category 2.
      14. Expand all the nodes.
        • Confirm that Course 1 and Course 2 are listed under "My courses" under their respective categories, like below:

           
          My courses 
            Category 1 
              Sub-category 1 
                Course 1 
            Category 2 
              Course 2 
          

      Clean theme
      1. Go back to the admin's browser window and switch to Clean theme.
      2. Navigate to "Site administration ► Appearance ► Navigation" and untick "navshowmycoursecategories" and save the changes.
      3. Go back to S1's browser window and refresh the page to switch to Clean theme (you might need to log out and log in again).
      4. Check "My courses" on the navigation block.
        • Confirm that Course 1 and Course 2 are listed under "My courses", like below:

           
          My courses 
            Course 1 
            Course 2 
          

      5. Go back t the admin's browser window and tick "navshowmycoursecategories" and save the changes.
      6. Go back to S1's browser window and refresh the page.
      7. Check "My courses" on the navigation block
        • Confirm that it shows only Category 1 and Category 2.
      8. Expand all the nodes.
        • Confirm that Course 1 and Course 2 are listed under "My courses" under their respective categories, like below:

           
          My courses 
            Category 1

      Show
