Visit the messaging page.

Click on a user to send them a message.

Hold down shift + enter to create new lines.

Type a message.

Hold down shift + enter to create new lines.

Press enter to send once you feel you will annoy the user enough.

Confirm the white spaces are stripped from your message.

Visit the messaging page.

Click on a user to send them a message.

Hold down shift + enter to create new lines.

Press enter and confirm the message is not sent.

Press send and confirm the message is not sent.
