Set up jabber message output (contact John if you haven't done it before) Enable it Log in as a student Go to notification settings (click the notifications icon and then click the cog) Click the settings cog for jabber Enter your jabber username Go to messaging settings (click the message icon and then click the cog) Turn jabber on for online and offline Log out Log in as a different student Go to your messages Use the contacts search to find the first student you added Send them a message Send them another message Make sure your message appears only once
