      Unfortunately this remains a nasty bug for anyone wishing to customise these strings.

      As reported in https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=342022 and https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=341781 when the language strings emailconfirmation or newusernewpasswordtext are customised from within Moodle, they lose their line breaks.
