Existing assignment will not have a grading event for teachers in the new overview block

      Setup (Moodle 3.2)
      1. Create a course.
      2. Enrol a teacher and a student in the course.
      3. Create 4 assignments with online and/or file submission:
        • Assignment 1 - no due date
        • Assignment 2 - has a due date older than three weeks from today.
        • Assignment 3 - has a due date in the past, but not older than three weeks.
        • Assignment 4 - has a due date today or in the future.
      4. Log in as a student and submit something in all of the assignments.
      Upgrade
      1. Upgrade to Moodle 3.3.
      2. After upgrading, run cron. 

        php admin/cli/cron.php

        • Confirm that the cron completes successfully.
      3. Login as a teacher.
        • Confirm that you see Assignment's 3 and 4 on the Dashboard.

      I noticed this while testing MDL-57858 and I think it should be either confirmed as a feature, or addressed as a regression of the new Dashboard.

      Reproduce

      1. On 3.2 site, create an Assignment with the default Due date enabled
      2. As a student, submit that assignment
      3. As a teacher, check that the assignment is reported at your Dashboard - it requires your attention because there is a submission to be graded (do not grade it)
      4. Upgrade the site to 3.3
      5. Expected result: I would expect the teachers continue to see these reminders
      6. Actual result: Nothing is displayed on the timeline
