Confusing 'View more' button in course overview block

      Test in Boost and Clean.

      1. Log in as Admin.
      2. Create multiple Courses ( > 10).
      3. Enrol Student in each of the Courses.
      4. Create course Activities (Assignment, Chat, etc.) in each course.
        • make sure at least one of the courses has more than 20 activities (the navigation in the course overview block is limited to 20 records).
      5. Log in as a Student enrolled in the Course.
      6. Go to Dashboard.
      7. Click on the 'Timeline' tab in the Course overview block > Sort by dates.
        • make sure you can see all activities.
        • make sure you can see the 'View more' button.
      8. Click on the 'View more' button until all activities are displayed.
        • make sure the 'View more' button is hidden when all activities are displayed.
      9. Click on the 'Timeline' tab in the Course overview block > Sort by courses.
        • make sure you can see all activities for each Course.
        • make sure you can see the 'More courses' button.
        • make sure you can see the 'View more' button for the Course that has many activities.
      10. Click on the 'More courses' button until all courses are displayed.
        • make sure the 'More courses' button is hidden when all Courses are displayed.
      11. Click on the 'View more' button for Course until all activities are displayed.
        • make sure the 'View more' button for Course is hidden when all activities are displayed.
      Show

    Description

      When there isn't anything more to view, the course overview block still has a 'View more' button in grey. The text and button suggest that it is clickable when it isn't. This is distracting and confusing. How about just not showing the button?

      Similarly, when an activity or resource is not available, text is displayed in grey such as 'Add submission' or 'View'. The text suggests a clickable link. Again this is distracting and confusing and it would be better to not show any text for activities which are not available.
