Hidden Courses not Grayed Out on new course overview block (3.3)

    • Testing Instructions:
      Hide
      1. Log in as admin.
      2. Create a new course, setting Course visibility as Hide and start date in the recent past.
      3. Enrol yourself in this course.
      4. Go to Dashboard.
      5. On Course overview block, select Timeline tab and then click Sort by courses button.
      6. Make sure course link colour is gray.
      7. The View course button text should not be blue (text-primary)
      8. Slowly resize the screen, to simulate mobile view.
      9. Make sure course link does not change to blue.
      10. Expand your screen again and now click Courses tab.
      11. Make sure course link colour is gray.
      12. Slowly resize the screen, to simulate mobile view.
      13. Make sure course link does not change to blue.
      14. Go back to that course, edit settings and change the course visibility to Show.
      15. All links should be blue (or whatever the colour of your theme is), the same colour of the course links on Site home
      16. Change theme to clean and repeat tests from step 4 to 13.
      17. The only difference is, the View course button match other clean buttons (it does not change text color)

      Description

      In previous Moodle versions, hidden courses were gray and shown courses were blue. However, in 3.3 all classes (shown and hidden) are blue. Is there a setting that can be changed to make hidden course links be grayed out on an instructor or administrator's dashboard?
