    Description

"Text align right" and "Text align left" alignment buttons should have some visual indication (maybe emphasized) when user select some text, a paragraph or just click inside a piece of content.

To indicate the selected content's alignment. (similar to the way we see the "bold" or the "directionality" buttons change in visual appearance when a user click inside a paragraph or select some text that has "bold" style or "directionality" set to LTR or RTL)

Seem like a regression, considering the old TinyMCE and other relevant button behaviour in current Atto editor.
