Formulas in linked Textfields are not rendered

In Moodle Version Moodle 3.3+ (Build: 20170525), linked activities that contain math formulas are rendered (s. Capture2.png)

In Moodle 3.3.3+ (Build: 20171123), there is no rendering (s. Capture.png) even though all settings are the same.
