Calendar event descriptions not saving if using TinyMCE

      1. Log in as admin
      2. Go to Site administration > Plugins > Text editors > Manage editors
      3. Set TinyMCE HTML editor as default editor and move it up to be the first in the list.
      4. Go to the calendar and click New event button
      5. Add a specific title to the event so you can find it easily and click Show more... link to expand.
      6. Note the default editor now is TinyMCE, add a specific description and click Save.
      7. Find the event you just created and click to open the summary.
      8. Once the summary is open, make sure the description is displayed.
      9. Click Edit button and then click again on Show more...
      10. Change the description text and click Save.
      11. Find the event you edited and click on the link.
      12. Make sure the text you edited has been saved.
      13. Go back to Site administration > Plugins > Text editors > Manage editors
      14. Move Atto HTML editor up to make the default editor.
      15. Repeat steps 4 to 12 and make sure it works as expected to Atto HTML editor as well.

      We have just updated to Moodle 3.4+. When our teachers add an event to the calendar, the description field details do not appear or save when you view the event on the calendar.  If you go back to edit the event the description information is gone.

      1. To create a new calendar event:
        •  In the Upcoming events block, click New event... (at bottom).
      • or - 
        •  In the Calendar block, click the month title, and when the Calendar opens, click New event (top-right).
        The New event page will open.
      1. Select the type of event (Course, Group, or User). Anyone can create a user event, but only instructors can create Course or Group events.
        Note: To create a Group event, groups must already be set up in a course. After selecting Group as the type of event in the Group event field, select the specific group.
      2. In the Event title ** *field, _ enter a *name for the event._
      3. (Optional) In the Description field, enter a brief description of the event.
      4. For Date, select the date and start-time for the event.
      5. Click Save changes and the course calendar will open displaying the new event.
