Currently, when a new field is added to the user profile, the visibility of this field and its information can be set to user, admin or all users. It would be of great use if the options cohorts and all students in my courses could be added. This would avoid having to create a separate course just to have students in distance learning enrolled in a group of courses (same category or other) present themselves to each other (as multiple forum replies suggest). And the information would be readily available to all teachers and students when needed instead of having to go find the "common course" and the particular student's response to a forum question when there can be over 100 student responses to a question.
