Install StudentQuiz

Create an instance of the StudentQuiz activity in a course.

Under 'Advanced settings' -> Untick 'Allowed question types', tick one or more question types except, but make sure that 'Description' is not ticked.

Save the changes.

On the main page of the activity, click the Create new question button.

Confirm that the "OTHER" section is not being displayed.

Expected result: If there is an empty section, the corresponding heading should not be displayed.
