Create a course and enrol a user in the course (take a note of the user's id).

Create 2 groups (group1 and group2)

Add the user to group1. Do not add him/her to group2.

Export the data of the user using the exporting tool. Make sure to set the user's id in the exporting tool (line 7).

Confirm that the data is exported as expected
