Log in as an admin

Ensure you have at least 6 Courses, if not, create courses.

Navigate to Site Administration -> Courses -> Manage courses and categories.

Click the Per page dropdown and select 5.

Confirm that you see a pagination bar that looks similar to Bootstrap's pagination component

Switch to theme clean.

Check if you see a simple pagination bar (page links are not being displayed as buttons)

Go to a Course and category management "Viewing courses" page of a course category having more than 5 courses and set per page to 5 https://qa.moodle.net/course/management.php?categoryid=1&view=courses&perpage=5
Note that the pagination buttons are in a untypic colour
The "Viewing:" label could be aligned in line with the pulldown selector
