Please test this patch on both themes Classic and Boost Login as admin Create a new course C1 Add a book resource "Test Book" to course C1 Create a first chapter called "First Chapter" with some dummy text After creating the first chapter you should be able to see your newly created chapter and the Table of Contents block From the Table of Contents block click the + icon after "First Chapter" Create a second chapter called "Second Chapter" with some dummy text Click the plus icon after "Second Chapter" Create a third chapter called "Third Chapter with a very long title" and check the subchapter checkbox. verify the chapter titles are numbered in the Table of Contents block Click the gear icon right of the book title "Test Book" On the dropdown choose Edit settings Open the "Appearance" Section and change Chapter formatting from Numbers to Bullets verify the chapter titles now have a bullet instead of a number verify the chapter titles are truncated when the title is too long verify the action icons are in the same row as the chapter titles Edit the Book settings Change Chapter formatting from Bullets to Indented verify no numbers show, the subchapter is still indented Edit the Book settings Change Chapter formatting from Bullets to None verify the is no formatting of the chapters
