Description
Possibly related to MDL-58669 but this seems to affect all browsers (or at least Chrome and Firefox), but apparently only for autocomplete elements in a modal dialogue (e.g. Course -> Participants -> Enrol users in Moodle 3.5).
To reproduce, go to the new combined participants / enrolled users page for any course, click the 'Enrol users' button and then the down arrow in the 'Select users' search input to activate the suggestions list. Assuming you have enough users the list will be scrollable. Try to grab hold of the scrollbar and drag it. This removes the focus from the search input and after half a second the list will close (scrolling still works fine using other methods, e.g. a scroll wheel).
The same behaviour also occurs if you mousedown on one of the list options for more than half a second.
