As a student submit some text. Grade the student and add a "feedback comment" to the submitted file of "Testing example: בקלות ואמנות" and draw a picture. Save the changes.

      Description

When putting Cyrillic in a comment when annotating a PDF, when that is exported by the student, the comments show as all question marks. If it is viewed online it is fine (both by teacher and the "view annotated PDF" button for the student. Something needs to be tweaked on the PDF output for this to work as well. ????

      To replicate:

      Go to an assignment

      grade it with an annotation

      put cyrillic in a comment.

      save the grade

      go to the student

click on the pdf link and download it.

open it up and click on your comment - this will take you to the bottom of the pdf which has just question marks for anything in Cyrillic.
