Change 'Hidden' to 'Removed from view' in the course overview

      Assumptions

      • There is at least one course present (Course 1)
      • Course 1 has not been Removed from view on the Dashboard
      • The course overview block is on the admin user's Dashboard
      • Admin user in enrolled in the course (Course 1) as a teacher

      Test

      1. Login as admin
      2. Navigate to Site administration > Plugins > Blocks > Course overview
      3. Verify that the following two Available filters are displayed:
        • All (except removed from view)
        • Removed from view
      4. Ensure that all the Available filter options are selected
      5. Press Save changes
      6. Navigate to the Dashboard
      7. Open the filter drop down (on the top left of the Course overview block)
      8. Verify that the following two filters are displayed:
        • All (except removed from view)
        • Removed from view
      9. Select the All filter
      10. Open the action menu on the Course 1 tile
      11. Verify that Remove from view is an option
      12. Press the Remove from view option
      13. Open the action menu on the Course 1 tile
      14. Verify that Restore to view is an option

      Additional testing

      It may also be worth using a screen reader on the block to ensure that all the messages for the options on the blocks menus that are verified in the test make sense and use the same terminology as the visual options.

      There has been a bit of feedback that it's still not clear enough that hiding courses in the overview block is hiding it only for that user's view in their overview block.

      This is particularly confusing for teachers which also have the ability to hide courses from students.

      We should try to improve the terminology to make this exceptionally clear.

      Various alternative wordings were suggested in the issue comments, with the following being agreed on:

      'Hide from view' - 'Remove from view'
      'All (except hidden)' - 'All (except removed from view)'
      'Hidden' - 'Removed from view'
      'Show this course' - 'Restore to view'
