      Description

Authentication of a user against an external database leads to duplicated user accounts with leading zero(s) in the user name.

Username in external database is for instance 3018987. Plugin for external database authentication is properly set up and working.

User may then login to Moodle with every combination of leading zeros and the original user name (3018987, 03018987, 003018987 ...) using the password from the external database. Everytime a new user account is generated in the internal Moodle database.
