Odd display of Book TOC in MS Edge/IE

As noted in Learn Moodle MOOC, the Table of Contents in a book displays underneath the book, and to the right, rather than on the right hand side where expected. Tested also on a MoodleCloud site and demo.moodle.net. It is not an issue in the Clean theme.
