Deprecate forum_print_latest_discussions

      Testing Site news

      1. Login as admin
      2. Navigate to Site Home
      3. From the cog menu, choose "Edit settings"
      4. Change both the "Front page" and "Front page items when logged in" settings to:

        Announcements
        List of courses
        

      5. Click "Add a new topic"
      6. Create a new forum discussion
        1. After creating the post, Confirm that you are shown the list of discussion
      7. Navigate the discussino list and ensure that it behaves as normal. This includes:
        1. viewing discussions
        2. replying to discussions
        3. creating additional discussions
      8. Navigate back to the Site home
        1. Confirm that you can see all of the discussions you created in the 'social' format
          Note: This is essentially the same as the blog format.
          You should see the discussion message and the number of replies.

      Testing social course format

      1. Login as admin
      2. Create a new course and set the course format to social
      3. Click "Add a new discussion topic"
      4. Create a new forum discussion
        1. After creating the post, Confirm that you are shown the list of discussion
      5. Navigate the discussino list and ensure that it behaves as normal. This includes:

        2. replying to discussions

      6. Using the breadcrumbs in the header, navigate to the course

      Description

      forum_print_latest_discussions is now only used in two locations:

      1. course/format/social/format.php
      2. course/renderer.php

      These uses should be replaced with the updated renderer, and the old function moved to mod/forum/deprecatedlib.php and deprecated.
