      2. Reply to its first post
      3. Private reply to the reply
        1. Confirm that you can edit them all
      4. Login as a non-editing teacher
        1. Confirm that you can only edit the replies
        2. Confirm that you cannot edit the first post
      5. Remove the 'editanyposts' capability from the non-editing teacher
        1. Confirm that you cannot edit any post
      6. Reply to the discussion
        1. Confirm that you can edit your post whilst you are within the maxeditingtime
      7. Reduce the maxeditingtime to 1 minute
      8. Wait for the minute to elapse
        1. Confirm that you can no longer edit your post

    Description

      As reported by moien.abadi in MDLQA-13501, an editing teacher cannot edit the private reply that they posted, whereas a non-editing teacher can.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Create a single discussion forum (or use https://qa.moodle.net/mod/forum/view.php?id=22 ).
      2. Log in as a student and add a reply.
      3. Log in as the teacher and add a private reply to the student.

      Expected result: You can edit your private reply.

      Actual result: There is no edit link in the private reply that you just posted.
