Forum grading option to send notification to student

      Setup
      • You will need a clean site as the backup contains a number of potentially conflicting users
      • You'll need to have your moodle instance sending emails, you can use docker or mail catcher for that.
      • Please restore the attached backup file if you don't have enough forum posts/data to grade.
      Testing.
      1. Log in as student 1.
      2. On the header, click on the bell icon and then in the cog to edit your Notification preferences.
      3. Search for Grade notifications and enable both Web notifications by clicking on the Off icons.
      4. In another incognito window, log in as admin and go to the Points Forum.
      5. Click on Grade users button.
      6. Search for the student 1 (should be the first one to show)
      7. Select a grade and in the below sections click Yes, send notification to student
      8. Click Save.
      9. In the other window, reload the page.
      10. You should have a new notification, click on the bell icon.
      11. Make sure you see a notification with the message You have been graded
      12. Click on View full notification link.
      13. Make sure you see the notification message:

        You have new feedback on your work for "Forum: Points Forum"
        

      14. Check your email, you should have received a new message with the same message above.
      15. In the admin window, change the notification setting to No and click Save.
      16. On student 1 window, reload the window.
      17. Make sure you have not received any new notification related to grading.
      18. Check you email Inbox, you should have not received any email.
      19. Try other users and grading method, it should work same way.
