      Description

When writing labels in Moodle 3.5.4, em dashes, en dashes, and opening quotation marks are forced into different characters.

      For example:

Alt + 0147 produces “ in the WYSIWYG, but once saved, becomes " (inch mark)

Alt + 0147 produces ” and is unchanged upon saving

Alt + 0150 produces – in the WYSIWYG, but once saved, becomes - (hyphen)

Alt + 0151 produces — in the WYSIWYG, but once saved, becomes – (double-hyphen)

When reentering the label to edit, the forced conversions are present instead of original entries.
