Description
In version 3.7.1+ (Build: 20190816), the popup menu in fields used to search for users in courses (e.g. participants list, enrol users dialog) does not close automatically when the user clicks outside the field. This is very annoying, as in some cases (e.g. when enrolling users), it prevents the teacher from selecting the role to be assigned.
This bug is very recent, as it doesn't appear on demo.moodle.net (version 3.7.1, Build: 20190708). It was tested on a brand new installation of build 20190816 with default settings, with themes Boost and Classic, in Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
To reproduce
- go the participants page in any course
- click on the triangle on the right of the user search field : the list of roles appears
- click outside the field : the list of roles does not disappear
The same happens when searching for users, and a list of user names is displayed, and in other fields with auto-complete (e.g. tags, see below).
Edit : this might be a regression caused by MDL-63198
Edit : this is also mentioned in this comment for MDL-63198 (added two hours before my bug report )
