create a course
add two self enrolment methods, a method n°1 and a method n°2 in this order. On the enrolment methods page, self enrolment method n°1 is ranked before method n°2.
users enrol according to both self-registration methods
on the participants' page, select users who have self enrolment with the method n°2 and edit (or delete) selected user enrolments. But you can't do so because these users are removed from the selection (User "xxxxxx" was removed from the selection.).
on the enrolment methods page, rank method n°2 before method n°1 with action "Up/Down".
