Open your terminal and tail your apache error logs. e.g.

tail -f /var/log/apache2/error.log

Open your Moodle instance and go to a forum.

Open the forum's menu and go to the "Summary report".

Refresh the page in your browser (so the summary report page reloads).

Check your apache error log.

Confirm that you don't see the following error:

Potential coding error - existing temptables found when disposing database. Must be dropped!

The temp table used to calculate word/char counts for the forum summary report should be dropped once the report is completed.
