Invalid parameter when attempting to view the previous or next day in the calendar

      1. Login as admin
      2. Access to the calendar using the link in the Navigation bar
      3. Change the Month dropdown to Day
      4. Confirm you see the current day
      5. Press the link to view the previous day (e.g. today is Tuesday, so press Monday)
      6. Confirm previous day is shown, without triggering exceptions
      7. Keep pressing Previous day until you reach the previous month
      8. Confirm the Monthly view block updates correctly
      9. Press Next day to return to the current month
      10. Confirm the Monthly view block updated correctly

      As discovered by benkahn in MDLQA-14094:

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Log in as a user and go to the calendar
      2. Select 'Day' in the dropdown menu then click the link for the previous day

      Expected result: The previous day is displayed

      Actual result:  Invalid parameter value detected error (twice)

      Note that the invalid parameter error is also sometimes displayed when clicking the link for the next day.
