Log in as a teacher.

In a course, create a new Forum module instance.

Add a first post to the forum.

At the page listing all the discussions in a forum, click the discussion subject to open the discussion page.

Click "Reply" link

TEST Confirm that the button submitting the text to the forum reads "Post to forum".

Go to your Preferences > Forum preferences.

Enable "Use experimental nested discussion view"

Go back to the discussion and click "Reply" again.

TEST Confirm that the button submitting the text to the forum reads "Post to forum".

Description

Could we please have the string "Post to forum" (mod_forum,posttoforum) for posting to forums in general?

If I want to answer a forum post in Moodle 3.7 I must "Submit" my reply to the forum unless I use the Advanced option, in which case I must "Post to forum".
In Moodle 3.8 with "Use experimental nested discussion view" set to Yes, I must "Post" my reply to the forum, while I "Post to forum" as usual in advanced mode.

Now the translation is a little tricky, while it is not possible to see the origin of language strings when replying to a forum post.
So I tried unsuccessfully to find the string "Post" on my own. The "new" option, "Post" is not taken from forum.php, and luckily it is not the core string "post", which is translated as a noun in the Danish lang pack.
