log in as admin

Add a new course C1

Add a new page "PageOne"

Type 2 paragraphs of text in the Page content editor

Go to the end of paragraph 1 and press 'Enter'

Click the "Insert H5P" button in the Atto toolbar

Paste the following URL in the "URL or embed code" field, and click on the "Insert H5P" button

Add some text after the H5P placeholder

Verify that you can delete the H5P placeholder using the backspace button if you move the cursor to after the placeholder and press backspace

Press ctrl-Z so that the placeholder is back again

Verify that you can delete the H5P placeholder using the delete button

Verify that you can cut and paste some text in the editor, both with right-click menu and with Ctrl-Z and Ctrl-V

Description

As reported https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=393952 the Atto Editor in Moodle 3.8 does not support cutting.

To reproduce:

open up the Atto editor in any activity
type some text
select some of this text
hit Ctrl and X to cut
Further down the page attempt to paste this text

What should happen:

Text is pasted

What does happen:

Nothing
