Folders dont get listed in course resources

      1. Login as admin
      2. Create a new course
      3. Turn editing on
      4. Add the Activities block to the course
      5. Press Add an activity or resource and choose Folder
      6. Set Name: My inline folder
      7. Upload any file to the Files element
      8. Set Display folder content: Inline on a course page
      9. Press Save and return to course
      10. Confirm that Resources is listed inside the Activities block
      11. Click the Resources link in the Activities block
      12. Confirm that My inline folder is listed as a course resource
      13. Navigate back to the course
      14. From the Actions menu select More...
      15. Click the Reports tab
      16. Click Logs
      17. Confirm that My inline folder is listed in the Activities dropdown menu

      Folders dont get listed in course resources, if display option 'inline on a course page' is selected.

       

      To replicate this issue you have to take the following steps:

      1. Go into a existing course
      2. Add a new activity
      3. Choose 'folder' from the list that is shown
      4. Edit the Settings of the newly added folder. It should have the display setting 'inline on a course page' enabled
      5. now go back to the course view
      6. Navigate to the 'Activities' block and click on the link 'resouces'
      7. Now you should see that the added folder is missing from the list.

       

      If you change the display settings of said folder to be 'on a seperate page' the folder is shown in the activities list.
