Setup Go to Site administration > Server > System paths and set Path to PHP CLI setting to the binary of your php. eg. /usr/bin/php Go to Site administration > Security > Site security settings and make sure Cron execution via command line only - cronclionly setting is disabled and Allow 'Run now' for scheduled tasks ( tool_task | enablerunnow)  setting is enabled. Testing Visit Site administration > Server > Tasks > Scheduled tasks Confirm that plugins which are disabled, such as  \auth_cas\task\sync_task , do not have a "Run now" link Disable any task, such as core\task\h5p_get_content_types_task . Confirm that plugins which are enabled but their task is disabled do have a " Run now" link and that it works.
