      Description

For enterprise use, the ability to generate and configure a notification on an event like Course Completion would be hugely beneficial.  There are many threads on the moodle forums about this functionality and a range of hacks around needing to use badges, questionnaires or event monitoring to achieve similar type functionality.

A cleaner, elegant solution is an activity or course setting that allow a course teacher/sys admin to be able to configure an email, explicitly define recipient(s) (e.g. shared mailbox, department mailbox, shared service centre) advising of the course completion information (name, date, link to course), affected user (learner).

I could see the programmatic functionality being useful in other event circumstances but Completion is the most burning requirement for us, and I gather others.  This would be roundly used by the commercial / enterprise adopters of Moodle.

I haven't been able to find any similar requests in the database just yet (unless Jira's search engine is grim).
