Limit the image description length and improve the alt text string

      1. Login to Moodle and ensure you are using the Atto editor in your editor preferences.
      2. Edit a text area with the Atto editor - your profile will do.
      3. Press the insert image button. The Image properties dialogue will appear.
      4. Verify that the text "This image is decorative only" appears next to a checkbox.
      5. Verify that the text entry for the description is a textarea form element.
      6. Verify that there is a count indicator below the textarea. It should read "0 / 125".
      7. Enter text in the textarea. The counter should reflect the number of characters typed.
      8. Keep entering text until you have entered more than 125 characters. Verify that you cannot enter more than 125 characters.

    Description

      The Atto image plugin needs the textbox for submitting alt text description to be changed to a textarea with a maximum of 125 characters. Should have a character count visible whilst typing.

      The checkbox for ignoring alt text or not, “Description not necessary” should be “This image is decorative only”.

      This is to help meet accessibility rules.
