Filepicker is not working when using the file details view

      Manual testing

      Prerequisite

      1. Login as Admin.
      2. Go to "Private files"
      3. Upload a file in the file area.
      4. Create a folder ("Folder") in the file area.
      5. Add some files into the created Folder in "Private files" 
      6. Save the changes.

      Test 1 (Select/navigate through files/folders in the Filepicker in table view)

      1. In "Private files"
      2. Click on the "Add..." icon.
      3. In the Filepicker, in the Repositories list, click on "Private files"
      4. In the repository change the view to "Display folder with file details" (second view option)
      5. Click on the file
        • make sure a "Select" file dialog appears
      6. Cancel the dialog
      7. Now, click on the Folder
        • make sure you are directed to the Folder and can see it's contents.

      Test 2 (Select/navigate through files/folders in the "Private files" area)

      1. In "Private files" change the view to "Display folder with file details" (second view option)
      2. Click on the checkbox in the File's row.
        • make sure the checkbox is checked and a dialog does NOT appear
      3. Click on the file
        • make sure a "Edit" file dialog appears
      4. Cancel the dialog
      5. Click on the checkbox in the Folder's row.
        • make sure the checkbox is checked and you are NOT directed into the Folder 
      6. Click on the Folder
        • make sure you are directed to the Folder and can see it's contents.

    Description

      When using the "file details" view in the filepicker, no file can be selected. See attached filepicker_filedetails.gif file.

      It's working as expected in Moodle 3.8.
